Alright, so apple released new notebooks, much to many peoples dismay they have glass screens. Now I havn't actually seen one, but based on a couple things i dont think this is as bad as some people make it out to be. First off the imacs had this, without an LED backlight, so they are not nearly as bright, and there is no problem, the only issue with the imac is the limited colour range. I work at an apple reseller and we use imacs and i have a glass wall behind my desk, honestly no issues to report at all. Second the macbook air has a glossy LED backlit display and it actually looks EONS better then the last gen macbook pro's did display wise, glossy didnt seem to factor much for an issue with that one.
I am pumped also for the 24" display/dock apple just came out with. honestly i am getting a new macbook pro next cheque and I am going to get the display shortly after.

I'm currently stashing away a bit of moolah week from my wages to dive into the world of Macs. Between you and my new iPhone, I'm completely sold on them now. I was using a macbook over the weekend and lost all my previous misconceptions about them. The only decision now is whether to get a Mac mini or go the whole hog and grab a macbook altogether since I don't have a laptop anymore (then again, I haven't a huge amount of use for one)
