I am going camping and kayaking this weekend at the western entrance to the North Cascades, on the Skagit River. andnowmiguel and I are taking inflatable duckies which are my favorite over the hard kayaks. We put in at Goodell Creek campground and take out at Copper Creek 8 miles later. This is a great place to see bald eagles October through February so maybe we'll get lucky
The river is Class 1-3 with a handful of good rapids and a lot of beautiful scenery. Hope it's hot out! A couple of days ago it was 100 degrees in Seattle!
