I just added a handful of pics toSG Rejected Sets if you want to check it out.

I have been having such vivid dreams the last couple of nights.
Two nights ago I dreamt I was riding a horse up in the hills. There were other people ahead with horse and wagons. My horse seemed angry, really acting up and beganbucking and trying to reach around and bite me. I fell off and he went racing ahead with the bridle reins tied together, hanging down in front of him. I knew what was going to happen next and watched as his foot got caught in the reins and in slow motion his head yanked foward causing him to somersault. I watched in horrer as the weight of his body flatted his spine as his body came around and he lay still. He went to get up and I saw it was futile. There was commotion and voices and I remember quickly coming to the conclusion that we had to put him down but how? We didn't have a gun but then I remembered my knife and knew we had to slit his throat. I ran to him, my heart racing and hurting for him. I knelt by him and looked in his eyes as he looked into mine. And then we were communicating though his lips weren't moving. He asked me what was going to happen and I remember for a just a moment wondering what I could say to pacify him but then just gently telling him what had to happen. It was so sad and he cried real tears and told me he didn't want to die. .....And that's all I remember
Then last night I was navigating crazy waters in a boat race on this super highway of the fastest moving boats you could ever imagine. One person had control of the speed from the back of the boat and the other had the navigation controls in the front. There were boats everywhere, 4 lanes, all moving in one direction going faster than possible in real life. Like a video game. Full throttle we would come straight up the the ass end of one boat and the navigator would reel us into the next lane narrowing missing another boat and so on, in a race to the finish. And they wanted me to drive!! I was like, NO WAY! Talk about a scary but exciting adrenaline rush! We went through the course twice and the whole time I thought we were sure to crash at every second.
I was looking through photos today...actually editing a SG set I am soon to send in. I found these from Burning Man 2005 and was remembering how great that year was.

The rains around here have hit 50 year records and have really caused some damage in the last couple of weeks. One family about 30 miles from here lost the house they have been building for the last 10 years and were just about to move into this winter. It was built 70 ft from the bank of the river yet collapsed into it as the water levels rose. A dream washes away in a matter of minutes.
I have been invited to raft the Colorado river again, down the Grand Canyon this January. Miguel's brother Teggart put his name in for the park's permit lottery system and was actually picked. I know of many people who put their names in but only he was picked that I know of. When you enter the lottery, you must choose 3 dates you would be willing to go. Your odds increase when you pick dates that other people are less willing to go on...such as January dates. I imagine it is pretty cold then since I would freeze in the shadow of the canyon walls even on warm, sunny days. The other thing is that this permit is for 25 days which is a very long time to be away from my daughter. So, I'm not going this year which makes me a little sad, but I know myself and 25 days of cold and wet woudn't be great. Maybe next year...
Oh, and I just found out that Ray LaMontagne is coming in concert next week. He is definately my favorite musician right now so I really hope to go.
