So I woke up a few mornings ago with a pretty bad sore throat which was no good because I was supposed to be getting all geared up for Burning Man...the next day it was even worse and I ended up going to the doctor and I had Strep throat!! Damn! I have 80 Penicillin to consume over the next 10 days while on the playa. How lame is that?! I guess it could have been worse. The doctor told me that if I don't improve I have to go to the emergency room because I might have an abcess on my throat! I feel a little better today so I think I will be fine.

Our film Ignis Fatuus was not only accepted into the Hump 2 Film Festival, I hear it is also nominated to win! So if you live in the area be sure to get your tickets soon for the September 9th showing at 6pm

Got to see Joe before he left for a month on tour with his band In Haste. I'm gonna miss him! If you get a chance you should catch one of his shows.

So we leave for Burning Man tonight and we are so excited! It will be Miguel, Eriko, Tanya, Sol and myself in the van. Sure hope it makes it! We have been making costumes and working on our old '63 travel trailer to get it travel worthy. Andnowmiguel had to replace all the plumbing but it's in good shape now. We're all pretty stoked to meet our new Whiskey and Whores campmates and will be camping at 7:30 and Brave for any of you who want to look me up while you're there! I'll pour you a shot! I'm bartending Wednesday and Saturday afternoon.

Alright, I'm going to head out and take care of a hundred last minute details. I won't be back until the 7th or the 8th so until then...
