went out all swank style for my friend jeanie's birthday last night. to the lobby bar at the W hotel on lakeshore drive. that is some expensive bullshit. 9 or 11 bucks for a drink. but they were super strong. and i wasdrinking belvedere and cranberry juice so at least i was getting good shit so to speak. while we were there they had fireworks at navy pier that you could see from the outdoor seating. so all and all it was a good time, but i can't fathom ever going back there. then we went to tantrum. another place i will not go back to. i guess i am a dive bar kinda guy. i yam what i yam.
