got the bug while chatting with A to get my ass outside
so i picked up my boy wyatt.
and we took off for a 9 mile hike under an azure sky with big, fluffy clouds, during witch we saw eleven ducks, five deer, two catapillars, a coyote, a woodpecker, a black bird with these crazy yellow orange patches on his wings and two people training a dog sled team with a three wheeled cart. and saw all these things while hiking and discussing the meaning of meaning. not bad for a tuesday in may.

that settles it, i'm gonna try my damndest to get hiking this weekend...
did you go far from the city? If I can't make it to Wisconsin, I'd like to hike around in Illinois...
I went to Apple River Canyon and had a real nice hike out there by Rockford a few years ago... hardly anyone using those trails around there...
