ripping cds from a friend, sitting here thinking that i should maybe not get my gen eds from an expensive four year university since i will be paying out of pocket (sort of) for the classes. less glamorous, certainly but makes a lot more sense. goin to mich to get my scooter tomorrow. just mailed the check for the factory manual for said scoot so when i have both in my posession i will be able to start fixing this thing up for ridin'.

and i just got a little broadcast thing for my mp3 player so i will have lotsa good tunes all uninterupted like for my nearly 400 mile eeek round trip. i will be playing it smart and stopping to see sorcha for dinner and white line fever prevention.

i know 400 miles isn't all that bad, but alone and half of it in the dark are the shitty parts i'm not looking foreward to.

.....driving at night alone trips me out, i love it and fear it and the same time.....the places ones mind can go, clothed in darkness, the road is yours.........your music broadcast thing sounds just perfect, if you;ve got music what more do you need, measure the time in albums, thats what i love to do....and smoke lots of cigarettes and watch the smoke make patterns in the air.....

hope it goes well tongue

I prefer to drive at night. I've always been that way. Speaking of driving, as you drove away, I realized I hadn't told you how to get to I-94 from my place. I figured you'd mapped it, though, since you didn't ask. I tried calling your phone, but yeah... tongue

Anyway, that last Google thing was that mystery ingredient in Turkish Delight.

It's mastic.

'The aromatic resin of the mastic tree, used especially in varnishes, lacquers, adhesives, and condiments and as an astringent.'

Mmm... varnish...
