i figured that even a not so flattering recent picture is better than a picture of a devil from a booze shaker box. i don't know why i think this. ah well best not think too deeply on these things.


been in a huge funk lately. i don't know if its the never ending winter, being laid off (which is not as fun as it was when it still felt like a vacation), my social life, or what.
it doesn't help that i just found out that the company i work for is being forced to merge (due to poor sales) with another company. when this happens they will eliminate the installation department. thats me. sooo that looming on the horizon can't be helping matters.

hovever the same day i found out about my job i also discovered that UIC had moved their application deadlines back one month so i am sending for my transcripts and filing out my application, which is cheering me up a little.

tried to kickstart summer (hell, even spring) yesterday by starting the summer sunday cookouts that my friends and i did all last summer. even though it was in the thirties outside. hope springs eternal, i guess.
