so the party went very well. no weirdness.

the only weirdness that i was expecting and have dealt with in the past isn't even that bad, its just uncomfortable. my ex started hanging out with her roommates friend after i moved out, she also dated and broke up with one of these friends. i have met these people over time and had to overcome the fact that to these people i was, at best, a friend's exboyfriend, or at worst a friend's exgirlfriend's exboyfriend. so they didn't hold me in the highest regard when we first met. which i understand. i really do. that didn't make it any less awkward though. but that seems to be behind me now. so it was cool.
