I know the spot where my ancestor was sold. He was bred in Mississippi then shipped to Texas where he was sold. From there my family roots started on my father's side.
Every year, the family reunion is held on the very spot where he was sold. He was bred for hard work, meaning he had size and strength. It is interesting to know about family history.
Now to find out more about my mother's side. All I have to go on is Cherokee and Creole bloodlines. But no explanation yet about my random red facial hair.
To be continued........

Looking at you I can imagine he was quite an imposing fellow. I can't wait to hear more.
