So the good news is I'm getting in better shape. If you didn't know, I work in the oilfield. I'm away from home weeks for a time so it is difficult to stay on a routine for me. But I have and I feel better, it feels good to not be as worn out after shift. I'm on day 25 of a 35 day rotation (3 weeks out of 5) and I'm loopy. I find myself staring off into space often.
My body hurts and my spirit isn't broken.
I felt like I needed a symbol at work so I devised this from my hard hat and hammers.
I have a weakness for thick thighs and an onion booty, no idea why but it happens.
Now to top this thing off with five random facts about me!
1. I'm adopted. My family is the typical southern suburban white family. Needless to say some days I feel like I don't fit in, then they show me how much they love me now and forever.
2. I live in Louisiana but fly to work in the northeast region. Anywhere from Ohio to West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
3. My tattoos are symbols representing my family and to honor my full heritage. I was told that I'm descendant from Native, French, and African. So I picked totem spirits to not only protect me but to honor that family history. Then crosses to honor my personal past.
4. I loathe shaving my face. If I could have a beard I would but company policy prohibits beards. We are only allowed to have a mustache and if I can't have a beard then I would rather be clean.
5. I use to be goth in college. Long hair, black nails, a spiked collar, all black unless I wore school colors and I wore chains/spikes. Plus, I would wear eyeliner and or face paint where I would draw designs. Apparently, girls liked that back when I was in college and all my friends thought I was awesome. Yea picture me, this oilfield camo country boy, being punk goth with designs on my face long hair and black nails!
Let that sink in lol...
