Case Study: Carmen Electra & Dave Navarro...

I just love reality show couples. These two are married now. Let's just see what they've gotten themselves in to, shall we?

They have 6 emotional trines, 6 powerful, but a couple potentially explosive conjuncts, 3 strong negative conjuncts, 6 difficult squares and 1 helpful sextile. That's 13 positive aspects and 9 negatives. That's alot of somewhat conflicting energy. Included in this are 6 Uranus aspects which bring both excitement and instability into the mix. There will not be many dull moments in this marriage, that's for sure.

Carmen's Venus is in perfect trine with Dave's Mars:

This is the best comparative aspect for sexual compatibility. There is likely to be a strong romantic attraction here, as well as a connection conducive to emotional and social compatibility. This is an excellent combination for romantic relationships and for marriage because of the high degree of both social and sexual compatibility.

I have only experienced this aspect in one direction, but with two different people, and yes, I would consider them both to be soul mates. The moon is your emotions and Venus represents that which is most important to you. So another way of describing a moon conjunct Venus connection is that your emotions are important to each other. Carmen and Dave have a double dose of this which is VERY rare.

Of the two I've experienced the moon conjunct Venus with, I've also experienced the Mars trine Venus in one and Mars conjunct Venus in the other. The trine produced the best and the conjunct produced the most regular sex I've ever had.

These moon-Venus and Mars-Venus aspects are an ideal foundation for any relationship, and the main aspects I search for when looking for soul mates. These only provide a deep connection and great sex, though. Longevity of the relationship depends on other factors, some of which lie outside the scope of Astrology.
