my san antonio house hunt is going well.
I am so ready to go. Don't get me wrong. Austin is great. I love Austin. I'm just......done.
The city has been so good to me the last 10 years. I'm just ready for something different. And cheaper.
I've always loved the idea of building something from the ground up. I've done that over and over in Austin. I've done all I can here and I'm ready to see what I can do somewhere else.
I went down last week to spend a couple days with dad and drive by some houses I saw on the market. I found quite a few things online for ~80k in the neighborhook I'm looking in. In austin? 80k wont get you far and I KNOW san antonio is cheaper but I was still skeptical. I had no reason to be.
So now my timeline is just after the first of the year. If I can figure a way to do it quicker I will but because I'm self employed, I don't think its going to be possible.
If you had told me 2 years ago that I'd be moving back to San Antonio I'd have called you a liar.
