520 bridge traffic sucks. On weekdays, when our friends are off work and want to do things, we can't travel to Seattle or we'll get stuck in traffic. At least, between the hours of 4:00 and 7:30. As a consequence, we miss out on a lot of events.
I wish I had taken pictures of the Los Angeles area we lived in. Instead of trees, we had telephone poles and wires. It was dry. There was a lot of trash. To live in the middle of all this lushness feels like an unimaginable luxury.
It's a tough quandary. I don't like being a hermit and ditching my friends, but I don't want to live west of the bridge and give up the nature. I don't know how to resolve it. Maybe I should just get better CDs to listen to in the car.
