Had my first gabors experience last night 
it's a swamky place. Also had my first gin and tonic. There is a yummy snadwich shop called Cheds off of 19th and something.....nothing but different kinds of grilled cheese. I had the 'seeds and weeds' which is dill havarti, spinach, mushrooms, avacado, some kind of fatty sauce on a seedy bread........fucking delicious 
Also: Thai Basil is my favorite restaurant. If anyone goes order the Thai Basil Chicken....but only if you like bokchoy.
Today is the shopping spree. woot!!!

If you like Thai food, please try my friend's restaurant, sometime. Taste of Thailand is on Old Hampden in Englewood across from Swedish Hospital. It's small, but the food is marvelous.
