Life has been rather good 
Many friends were sick new years but we managed to put together a last-minute-party (Lots of rum, coke, blankets, and Ron Burgendy).
My house is FREEZING!!!!! After our last electric bill ($200) we decided to keep it at a steady 65 which wouldn't be so bad if this place wasn't so drafty!! Surburbia is wearing thin with me. The quiet neighborhoods are nice but everything feel so blah. every corner looks exactly the same. I miss my apartment.....12th and Logan. My roomie and I were one block away from Onyx, Cafe netherworld, multiple clothing stores....right in the heart of Capital Hill. Sadly Onyx is no more (my favorite club). 2101 isn't very good...the location kinda sucks....it feels out of place to me. The Cherry Pit is another fav club.....but I still miss Onyx.
Suburbia has nothing, just chain restaurants and gas stations....plenty of parking.
Sometimes I wish i had the financial backing to start up another club, kinda like Onyx was (similar location). but then the time and stress involved makes me shrink back a tad.
