I've come to realize I'm not that fond of grape leaves. They looked good so hell I thought I'd try them but they have a pickle sort of cheese flavor going on that well just didn't sit too well with me.
The drive up to the concert turned out to be a lot of fun my navigation skills well need some tuning up. We got there fine I just sort of had a bit of trouble actually reading the map quest directions namely the miles. Anyways we got there early so we had some food at this greek place and well I got the grape leaves like I said I wanted to be exotic what can i say. After that we ended up having to wait outside the venue for about an hour behind some annoying underage drunk kids who kept going on about how drunk they where and how there was a million jobs in oregon. Oh yeah they also had to piss like a race horse and wanted to stab someone in the neck... and of course they were drunk and talk about being drunk. So about after an hour we go in thank god after all my brain cells have been destroyed just being exposed to such stupidity we got in. Turns out though another concert was booked for later on that night which blew. We missed the opening lady as well it took forever to get in. Sunset Rubdown played for about 45 minutes but where great sucks I couldn't see more of them. Beth had some friends that actually came to the show too guess they know the girl in Xiu Xiu Clara or something don't ask me though. I didn't get to meet them... hell they only got to play for about half an hour which was lame. I had somehow managed to have 4 pints in the time of the two hour concert which was fun.. it improved my navigational skills or so i claim. We hadn't printed directions back and well had a few detours but found things alright enough getting home around three. I don't know it wasn't the most exciting trip or concert in my life but it was pleasant more so than most things that been going on lately.
For some reason I ended up buying a shirt that says Fun Is For Assholes
