A week has passed.

I'll soon be done with the income taxes job. That'll be good.
More time for coloring comics and making jewelry. I'm late for the coloring. I just wish I could make a living out of it, but unless you're "big" in the industry, don't you dare dream such a thing.
Same for the jewelry.
A local actress/ radiogirl/ singer has her...

Thanks to someone, I'm back on SG, which is kinda great, been so long. I dunno, I made a cross on ever being a SG, so I was thinking, why bother! It takes quite a bit of my time, when I could do some useful stuff... But I did kinda miss it. Mature forums, open-minded people, interesting interviews...
I even remembered some ideas of shoots...

Welcome back! Yeah, SG invited me back too! I think they've been enticing old members back with free memberships. It seems to have worked, I think I'll stay on.

And don't be too hard on yourself, I'm sure you still have a great body! Keep that confidence! smile

No problem. Feel free to drop by anytime for a pick me up. biggrin

I'm glad!
My friend opened her tattoo shop yesterday. It looks awesome! Plus, instead of a usual desk, she has a glassed display (it was bought from a sale from LaBaie, they were literally selling the store parts...). The great thing about that display is that I could fill it with jewelry I made. biggrin
I'll be at the store on days she won't, just to...

Good luck to both of you with the shop.

Sadly I have abandoned my plans to be in Montreal. Although, I have been considering a new tattoo so maybe a rethink is in order...

that sounds lovely - i hope everything works out there!

I'm such a wuss.
I went st my friend's place yesterday so that she could finish the tattoo we started WEEEEKS ago, there was only the color left. I couldn't stand it all. After 2 hours and a half, I almost begged her to finish it another time.
We were both very unsatisfied about it, but I just couldn't take it anymore. frown
At the end...

Did anybody else had trouble login in? It's been something like three weeks I couldn't even open the SG home page...

So lots of news...
One of my friends died in a car accident. Probably fell asleep, it was 24 hour in a row he didn't sleep. Maybe he was driving too fast, bad habit he had. He wasn't wearing his seatbelt. Drove straight into...

Sorry to hear about your friend. It show how fragile life is - a simple thing that takes two seconds and he could still be alive.

How are you?

Well well...
These have been long weeks. Had a funeral, I've seen some old friends there. Felt like I was the only one that really changed, that had rough times, but it must be just me. Maybe I'm just the only one that didn't go straight to the goal. I'm still lost, but at least I can say I lived. I don't know if they...

I'm fucking frustrated with my lil business.

Let me explain: I make jewelry. Not the gold and silver expensive fucking classy shit, but not the low-quality, plastic and glass crap that you find in every store either. I have to find stores to sell it.
The one I've been last week wanted to rip me off. I sell a necklace with earrings around 30 bucks....

Have you ever spoken with Grimreaperess? She too makes teh jewellery.
grimreaperess:
Heya,

I'm not doing so great with jewellery, it's very difficult. It's hard to compete with imports and with the sheer amount of stuff on the internet.

Anyway, I'd suggest giving www.etsy.com a try, it's easy to set up and very cheap with a pretty big user base. It means you don't have to wait until your boyfriend sets up your site, and once he has set it up you can link to it from etsy and etsy from your main site.

Good luck!

Hey there!
Looking for an action-packed movie? Bourne's Ultimatum is what you need.
I'm usually pretty wary of trilogies and serial movies, they usually go down-hill, or the movies are pretty much the same, but I'd say this Bourne was a brilliant ending. The rebellious ex-agent is fighting hard to find his past, to have a chance for a future. I won't say more, hopefully...

I loved Transformers (yes, massive geek).

Bourne Ultimatum made me really mad. Why? Because it was constantly on the verge of being great. Some fantastically tense moments, cleverly wrought cat and mouse scenes and Matt Damon who rocked as usual. The smaller problem was that they still dumbed things down for the audience (like in the 2nd film) but the huge, unforgivable crime was the CONSTANT fUcKiNg ShAkY cAmErA. I'm so sick of directors taking the lazy, over-used way out of doing action scenes with shaky cam and incomprehensibly frenetic edits. I loved the first Bourne film - it's one of my favourites of all time. Smart, well acted, believable, subtle and brilliantly choreographed fight scenes. Thank you Doug Lipman.

The 2nd installment was weak. The 3rd would have been brilliant if they'd just fucking shot and edited the thing properly. That and not had him "pick a lock on the back door" to break in to the freakin CIA. I mean, seriously.

Anyways, sorry to rant - I actually came by to say hello and reiterate what scorchingly lovely eyes you have but I just saw Bourne last night and your post reminded me of how mad it made me. That said, I'll probably watch it again in a few days (knowing about and expecting the cameras and edits) and I'll like it better.

Hope you're well. xx

Movies review:

1408 from Stephen King: It was a good horror movie. Not one of those gory-wanna-be-scary stuff. Good story, good effects.

The number 23 with Jim Carey: a must-see. I couldn't predict it, and usually I'm pretty good at that. Lots of twists and turn-around. No evil tricks, no paranormal, just a sick mind. Great performance from Jim Carey. I insist you see it....
