i am quite anxious to adopt a dog at our local animal control services place. i already have her picked out. i am so drawn to this dog it just feels meant to be. now i just have to get josh (my husband) to agree. he's going to meet maggie on monday i think. i'll drag him out there. if nothing else i'll get to play with her and make the animals boredome a little less suffocating. i'm excited but i know that i can't afford to adopt for another week and a half and i really hope there aren't any problems with adoption. if it's meant to be she will still be there and josh will love her. i'm so happy and apprehensive. i may just have to bring her home. lol. even if my husband doesn't like the idea.

darling, i ended up geting a puppy. the one i was determined to play with had gone to a collie shelter/rescue group. my husband pointed out a puppy who has turned out to be almost no trouble at all. he is so good. he is a great little mutt. a heeler, lab, australian shepard etc mix. lol. so sweet.
