Wow! David Bloom is dead. Not from a bullet or a shell but from a pulmonary embolism. The soldiers and reporters slept and rode in very cramped quarters and I suspect like you here happens sometimes on an long airplane ride not moving for hours he probably developed a blood clot in his leg and it killed him.
His reports close to and on the front lines were amazing. I found out today he was a native of Minnesota. I liked his reports the best of all the embedded reporters.I will miss him though I didnt know him at all except from his reports on TV. HIs courage to report this deadly war from within the warzone was important in showing Americans and the world the war from a perspective never seen Live before.
I always thought that even one death in this awful war is too many. I just hope it ends quickly and with out alotmore civilian deaths.
Peace and Love to those people on both sides who have loved ones or are themselves in the line of fire.
