I have been thinking about the power of dreams. About how dreams when you're in them can feel so real. Like in the matrix. I also remember reading Peirs Anthony books as a kid and thinking about night mares had the job to deliver people's dreams. Of course day mares brought day dreams and you know I havent day dreamed in sooooo long. * Sigh* actually I usually sleep in the day time now so I guess I ONLY have day dreams.

I found this dream journal I meant to start writing and I had written this poem fragmentin the front that was written by Byron.

"Our life is two-fold:Sleep hath its own world
A boundary between the things misnamed
Death and existence;sleep hath its own world
And a wide realm of wild reality
And dreams in their development have breath
And tears and tortures and the touch of joy
They leave a weight upon our waking thoughts,
They take a weight from off our waking toils
They do divide our being; they become
A portion of ourselce as of our time. "

I like especially the line about dreams dividing our being that we have tow sleves our dream and our waking self. well off to sleep, perchance to dream... of a better waking world. One where french fries are just a tasty treat instead of part of some politcally insane real world.
