Last night was sorta David Lynchian.
I went to see a band I like and they opened for probably the worst band ever. Pat Mcurdy sucks ass!
Like a frat boy's Jonathan Richman but I dont really want to insult Jonathan Ritchman cause he is cool.
Anyways we quickly left and went to an old hangout of mine called Ground Zero.It even has a human sized birdcage and torture chair where you can get hot wax poured on you during their Bondage-a-go-go themed thursday night. Really brought back cool memories I saw grafitti I made in the bathroom almost 10 yrs ago! god I am getting old! the club hasnt changed at all same music same scene same crowd.
After bar close we were leaving to go to get food and came upon a truck on its side in the middle of the road. We had to stop since trafiic was all backed up. It looked like someone was trapped inside beause it started teetering back and forth.
So I got out of my friend's car to see if I could help at all and I was calling 911. There were about 7 people standing around staring at the victim who looked about 21and who was gushing blood from some head wounds.
It looked pretty superficial but they bleed a hell of alot and it was obvious he was in shock cause he kept saying he couldnt see but then he would wipe blood away form his eyes and then he saw the truck and would freak out. He wouldnt sit down, kept pacing and looking blankly at people with blood running down his face soaking the snow and dripping from his hands. No one wanted to really touch him and would kind of back away while trying to talk him down.
I took off my coat and tried to gently make him sit on the curb and finally he sat down and was crying about some "asshole " and that it wasnt even his truck and asked if his nose fell off , The clotted blood coming from his nose sorta looked like brain matter all bright red and foamy it was really sureal cause he couldnt feel it at all "no pain" he said" just cant see" very well.
Finally a cop showed up and was really not helpful. The cop went back to his squad car got 3 or 4 bandages and had one rubber glove it was almost comical because he was trying to put pressure on the face with one hand and trying to to not get any blood on himself and the bandages were so quickly saturated they were useless.
So finally ambulance shows up and I go to leave as the EMTs get him on strecther into the back f ambulance . Cop stops me to ask if they have my name and number and what happend. I say I didnt see anything it was already flipped over when I arrived so he let us go eat. then finally to bed after watching the first season of South park on dvd.

mine, well, it's harder than i thought but it'll be ok..
I went through this exact situation last year, but I was on the girl end of it. It is hard. It sucks. I hated every minute of it and cried my eyes out like your girl is.
BUT...
I was grateful that he had the balls to end it because he knew it was right to end it. He spared me more pain by ending it when he knew it was right instead of torturing me by saying, "Let's give it a bit longer." He said that once, and I spent the next two weeks worrying that anything I did would push him into breakup land. Ultimately, that doomed the relationship, and I felt horrible that he had stayed with me a bit longer just to spare my feelings a bit.
It was hard to be friends at first...VERY hard...but we eventually got through it. So tell her. You might lose her as a friend, but you have to understand that from the dumped person's perspective, it's very hard to take someone you were in love with and just see them as a friend.
Anyway...it's late...and I did have a point.
Good luck.
