Aloha

I just joined the NO FRIENDS group, I noticed your name on the same page as mine in the members list had Mesa, AZ next to it, so I figured I'd say "Wassup"

I see that you're into poetry, that's cool. I used to write poetry, I've redirected that interest into songwriting now.

I also see that you're into UFOs, I am too.

I've seen a lot of strange stuff. Once, I even saw a big circular object hover over Mesa in broad daylight, it must have been at least 20,000 feet in the air- too high for a hot air baloon(?) I watched it hang motionless in the same spot in the sky for about 45 minutes before it just sort of faded from sight.

Well anyways, I'll chat at ya later.

Peace

NICE relaxing Sunday. I feel like a poem. Usually I write them, but in this case this one was written for me by Karen Smith in Oregon:

FIFTH PLANET FROM THE SUN
by Karen Smith

> No time nor space, nor fall from grace
> could touch us when we were as one,
> In a watery, temperate paradise,
> Fifth planet from the sun....

Yes, a true aspiration: The Knight of the Woeful Countenance. Sancho is such a little fatty. I wonder if Alexis would want to play with Donny? She would need to be careful with that lance.
It is interesting to me that the mere mention of the arabs cutting the quota on oil, and the greedy 7 sister oil companies immediately raise the price and stations...

Ahaaa FEB1604 President's Day, Hooray! Some people say I look like George Washington? Others Abraham Lincoln? I think I look more like Willard Fillmore? I could see George if I was wearing a white wig, or Abe if I was wearing a stove top hat. Yep the spittin image of Willard. Hey wasn't he our only Grommet president?

Been listening to cool sounds. The day...

Yup we ended up getting nearly 5 inches of snow, but luckily it didn't interfere with our plans, and we had fun making snowmen! A day of cold weather here and there isn't so bad, but like you I'd be happy with 75 degree weather year-round. smile

Here it is the day after the Day of Love, the 15th of February, and just a month away from the Ides of March, the day of trouble and problems. Specially for anybody with the name of Julius Caesar. Soothsayers were doing pretty good that day I understand?

This is the song I sang today:

... So take my hand, and walk this land with...

I wrote this poem the next day:
FOGGY WINDOWS
The rain comes down in waves of gray, washing the dirty buildings and turning the vacant, trash-laden lot into mire.
A tattered shell of a building stands mute in the wan early light, its windows boarded over, ashen droplets running down the seamed, tired, unprotected wood, undermining it's last yellow peeling remnants of defense.

As rain...

Well here I am shaved all over and looking at the sky. There has to be at least one song for each day, and some days many you must sing: i.e.

I closed my eyes drew back the curtain, to be for certain what I thought I knew.

Far Far away someone was weeping, but the world was sleeping, Any Dream will do.

I wore...
