I went to see The Passion of the Christ yesterday with my mom and grandma, its an intense movie, i mean, we all knew everything that was going to happen, but to see it on screen kinda puts it in perspective... my mom cried all through the movie, she is a very devote catholic, my grandma almost never took her hands off her eyes... and me? well.. i kept convincing myself that it was just a movie, only red paint, only latex strips made to look like torn flesh, the thorn crown wasnt really piercing his skin, its a movie!... but always, in the corner of my mind, a little voice kept telling me "this is what supposedly happened in real life almost 2000 years ago... the pain, the blood, the humiliation, the despair..." i only cried in one tiny part of the movie, the part where mary sees jesus as a baby... and i screamed out loud for a full 5 seconds when the cross look like it would fall and crush jesus....
what an amazing film... some people will probably hate it, im not sure i like it myself, but i must admit, it made me wonder.....

Really not sure about the morals behind this film. Seems a bit unecessary to me
