Today I came this close to working up the nerve to ask a girl for her number. That would be the first time I've asked someone out since the 8th grade. She told me she wasn't allowed to date until she was 16, but otherwise she would tottally do it. One week later I see her kissing some dude during PE. Skank

I saw your post in SGNC, sad you're leaving ATL but I'm from Raleigh/Chapel Hill...so let me know if you need any help
I thought I'd mention that the Caribou show the other night was absolutely fucking incredible. Yes, I used an expletive, it was that good. There were two drummers and it was just so loud, blissed out, and chaotic I couldn't even believe what I was seeing. I have 4 reviews due by Monday so I should start them soon, but I don't think I'll ever...

Fortune cookies are really good with vanilla ice cream.
So, you're considering leaving the South too, eh? It's a nice place to be, but I personally need something different for awhile. I'm a nomad.

I don't know what the hell is wrong me, but I honestly have no idea how to party, at all...How does someone not know how to have a good time you may ask? I really don't have an answer as my friends are all the same, we always have been and we probably always will be. We hang around each others houses, we go...

Fucking with people is a hobby of mine. I certainly don't need to party to have fun.
"Love" is a stunning song, it brings me close to tears. I suspect I'll start bawling my eyes out to it soon.

Well after a few days of having lots of trouble breathing, constantly coughing up phlegm and generally feeling like hell I decided to see the doctor. It turns out I have bronchitis, brought on by a steady flow of allergic reactions to the spring time. I'm sure my smoking didn't help either, as little as I actually do it (about a pack a week isn't...

I'm not schizo, I'm paranoid. There is a difference.
Of course, now I'm coughing my head off. Yuck. That's what I get for making out with sick people.

Later? Where you going?
Atlanta is the worst city in the entire U.S. to live if you have seasonal allergies. I have seasonal allergies...life sucks.
If anyone is looking to hire a good for nothing, I'm open. I actually just applied at Starbucks the other day, something I told myself I'd never resort to. However, I will be going down to Athens to review the prefuse 73 show this Friday, so that should be fun. I've also been making some money on the side by buying and re-selling things on...

I do play guitar when not in a splint/cast. Once upon a time I was pretty good.
That painting is a good example of why I'm a writer and not a painter, haha.

When I was a kid I remember going out to a place called "little mexico" with my dad, I would then watch in amazement as two or three complete strangers would pile into our cadillac and we would then drop them off at another complete strangers house where they would begin working their asses off. This was the wonderful (and illegal) world of hiring migrant...

Thank you, hon. I hear collar bones are not fun to break.
The other day I bought about 200+ records as well as a pretty nice turn table for hella cheap. If there's any one reason for getting up early on Saturday mornings it's definatley garage sales. You never know when you're going to find that special something...I suppose Baise is the only person reading this entry as she's the only one on my friends list at...

Hey, that just makes me special.
My plans ended up falling through, so I spend a refreshingly quiet weekend with the family.
I really wanna go to Hurricane Mills to see Loretta Lynn's house. I'll get to see her live this summer; a friend of mine is playing in her band for a festival in Pigeon Forge in June. How cool is that?

Raleigh in general is a very slow child raising city. Near State, it's alright...lots of dudes and decent bars. Chapel Hill has the indie crowd and hot ladies. Durham is more academic and underground. But all three have great concert venues and the like. It just depend on what you're looking for. Unfortunately, being so college centric, sometimes i'ts hard to geta good feel for the area with skool being out.
I hit the Silliness boards here, of course.
I also read a lot and listen to records like they're made of crack. And I take walks.
