As set as I seem to move to Austin, I'd have to say I'm not completely married to the idea yet. You'd think that talking about where I want to move for 2 months straight would be enough, but clearly it isn't. The thing is that Austin strikes me as a glorified version of Athens, a place I've already been to quite enough. I love it there, but I think I might want something different at this point in my life. What is it that I want? I want what I've been wanting since I was too little to even point Austin out on a map. I want a true metropolis, I want sky scrapers and a real sense of importance in the world. This is why I wanted to move to New York or Boston so bad a while back, but I was discouraged by the extremely high cost of living in the hallowed northeast...That narrowed the list down to Austin, Portland, Chicago and Raleigh. Out of those four Chicago was the closest to what I wanted in a city, but I was scared away by the bone rattling wind. Portland is too far from my family and it doesn't have enough sunlight. Raleigh just seemed..boring. So Austin seemed like the natural choice. It's warm, it's cheap, it's not too far from home and it has a great music scene. Still though, Chicago seems so ideal if not for the cold weather....Coincidently, the only person on my friends list (and thus the only person who will probably read this) is making a move there herself in the coming weeks. Small world. So the conclusion? The result of all this emo-ness and indecision? I'm not saying anything until I'm wherever I decide to end up. I think I've said "seriously dude, I'm moving within the next week" about 76 times in the last couple of months and it's been bullshit every time. I've always wanted to travel to alot of places in the US anyway, so really I should just pick up and go ANYWHERE. Where to first is the question. One I will answer by, I shit you not, flipping a coin. I'M THAT FUCKING KERAZAY! (Not really)

Also, if you wanna start a friends thread, go to your friends thread page, and right below the listing of threads should be a link on the right-hand side that says "Add a thread." Though if you start one, only you and I would be able to see it.
