Oh lord, I am such an ass sometimes. I didn't mean to act like one and normally I'd like to think that I'm pretty friendly.... Every now and then however you just need to say what it is you need to say.

As for Boston, it's pretty damn hard to find cheap places. If you rent a room in a house, you can possibly find something around 500, but it depends on what you're looking for, really.
