my favorite thought this week, one which i haven't thought about in a long time is that enthalpy or delta H - TabsoluteDeltaS entropy = deltaG free energy. i love thinking about this in philisophical and biological terms; especially since i've been driving longer distances than usual. i know very very little about thermodynamics and i will probably further prove my ignorance of t.d. by posting such an entry but this concept has blown me away. ergh i wish i new more. imagine this in terms of immensely large -deltaG reaction adding a great abundance of spontaneous disorder throughtout the universe. or even infinite -deltaG reactions at a molecular level. it reminds me of that quote of whom's name has left me. "with one wave of my hand every molecule to the edge of the universe is affected." i have probably grossly misquoted this person. but it gets the point across.
