I didn't have the chance to go for the one job because I was given another promotion by the company basically the same day that I had mentioned how interested I was in the previous position I told you about.
This job requires that I work from 4pm-9pm every weekday evening and I basically am given a company car and cell phone and all I have to do is keep track of meds and make certain that my clients go grocery shopping. That way I don't have to quit my job at the school; which started today.
I am again working with children who have developmental disabilities and am continuing to work for the CDDO (place I worked in but not for last year, until this past April) with adults with developmental disabilities; here in Manhattan, Kansas. Luckily, I get to work with both ends of the spectrum here oh...AND I get to work with one of my students from last year because until he and his sister (she graduated and turned 21 this year so no more school) move into one of the group homes this November he will need assistance in the mornings with his hygiene. So, yeah totally excited and happy and feeling pretty damned good considering the fact that I will be able to still work with the people I totally love working with (clients of the local CDDO/developmental center) and new people I get to snuggle and hug alot.
