So, there is this job at the place I work that I am really really interested in; the problem is I don't meet the requirements that they have set up for it. It's really odd; the wording makes it sound as though they will substitute two years experience and training in Mandt for the Bachelor's degree. The thing is they mean that they will substitute two years of experience per the years needed for the degree; like one year of college and you only need 6 years experience; the problem? I have no true years of college and only 4 years experience. I WANT this job like if in ten years it were offered to me and I had moved away I would consider moving back here for it. I hate that I miss the qualifications by so small an amount of time as two years. Just so frustrating; this job would start me out at 1.5x's what I make right now and I could work one job for 37.5 hours a week instead of two jobs.

So update us? Did you go for it or not? I mean really what is the worst that can happen. At least they will know that you are interested in the position or something similar. Employers like that shit. LOL
