So, I got a new job that will have me working only every other weekend of the month. Eleven hours a day at 8.77 an hour two weekends a month...that will give me more time to have fun and also more money by about 140.00 a month. I will lose my discount at Hastings but...I don't give a fuck and besides, my snuggly Valen will surely forgive me the loss of discount for the added money every month and the ability to spend more time together. I won't have to work 4 days a week at 5.45 an hour to give us enough supplemental income. I think I did pretty well with this job switchy thing. I put in my two weeks at Hastings last week so woohoo! The position I got is at the Developmental Center where I am currently working every day but for whom I have not been employed...I've been working there but I work for USD 321 (unified school district). Anyway, yay me. I was given my choice of 4 assignments and I got the one I wanted thanks to the people there who work in the highrise (wher eI will be working) and the training coordinator (she flat out told me she likes me as a person and she considers me a friend) talked the manager into hireing me.
