Heyas, update time!
How are y'all doing my lovelies?
I've missed you all here and I've been terribly remiss in my duties as a good friend here on SG. I hate working, but even more than that I hate hopping onto SG and not seeing anything new going on in my journal....so, I am going to update at least once a day on the days that I am not working from 5-midnight (like tomorrow) so that I can get back into the whole being a friend thing. Haven't had much going on lately.
The clients had their Christmas party this past Friday, december 3rd, my girl's mom neglected to tell me that she had been up alot the night before and therefore was a bit grumpy. However, she told the case manager this, after my girl and I had already left for the party and after I had been trying to keep her awake the whole morning. I was a bit upset about that, because my girl hates loud noises and crowded rooms when she isn't bein a grump. Well, we get there and find a seat and as luck would have it the staff had the tables set but they were "not planning on seating people there" at the specific table that my girl chose to sit, it was only there in case we went above the capacity we had told them. So, we moved my girl and she had a hissy fit. Sat on the floor, wouldn't budge tried to get me to get up and go elsewhere. So, I got up and found her brother (she followed me) and then went back to sit down, she plopped her butt down on the floor and would not get up, so I figured I would wait and let her calm down a bit and then try to get her to sit in a chair. Well, without asking me to see what I was doing one of the other staff decided to butt her ass in and put my girl in a chair, in the middle of the walkway. Well, my girl sat in the chair and the lady walked away as though she had fixed everything, the minute her back was turned my girl touched her butt to the floor. So, I got up and walked with my girl and moved her chair to the wall well, she sat in it there and for the rest of the afternoon when she wasn't busy dragging me around the dance floor like I was some sack of potatoes she could just sling over her shoulder she would sit in that chair and try to sleep. Poor thing. Ticked me off though, that every time I tried to tak a break and grab water or talk to someone one of the staff (our training coordinator) would butt her ass in and tell me that my girl was "all alone" or she "was keeping her company because she looked so alone". WTF, it was a damned party and my girl did not choose to participate, for heaven's sakes let me have a little fun with the other clients and just chat with the staff. I'm glad that she (the staff person) got to sit there and chat it up with all her friends. While I sat off in the corner with my girl and watched all the fun and festivities. The one staff who moved my girl's chair to the middle of the wakway and asked her to sit in it, for some reason that made me cry and I sat there the rest of the afternoon just tearing up about it. I was an emotional wreck that day for some reason. (I think it had to do with losing Pete in Iraq.)
I did however, participate in the chicken dance, I effing rocked!!!!
Well, ta ta for now.
P.S. Valen has been instructed to spank me if I don't update...hrmmmm this could prove interesting.

Do you and Valen ever come up to KC randomly? We should all three hang out if so.
I am off Sunday and Monday this week....
I doubt you're available, but I thought I'd try!

Sorry to read about your probs at the party - I don't have your patience; I don't know how you do it without your blood pressure going through the roof. At least the Chicken dance went well anyway.
