Well, I guess I have a bunch stuff to write about. I'll start with the most recent and work my way back.
This past saturday was my 22nd birthday, or as I called it, the 22nd anniversary of my emergence from the womb. It turned out to be a really great day. I had lunch with my Mom and grandma and we had yummy chocolate cake for desert. This cake actually had a layer of reeces peanut butter cups in the middle. It was amazing. Then I felt like was gonna go into a coma from all the sugar. When I regained consciousness I started getting ready, showering and stuff for going out with friends. Getting ready to go out takes me surprisingly long time being the woman that I am. So after I finally decided on something to wear Mel and Yost took me out for some ice cream. Mmmm more sugar. Then after hanging out and drinking at Matt's house for a while we all headed to the main festivity of the day, which was going into Boston to see On the Drop and Fear Nuttin Band. The show was friggin amazing. Everyone who came with me was dancing to Fear Nuttin Band and a lot of them had never even heard them before. It was like a big party and I was so happy that a good amount of people were able to make it. Good fuckin times.
A week before my birthday was the 10th anniversary warped tour show. I had such a good time and got to see at least part of everyone I wanted to see. A.W.K. was a blast and full of energy like he always is. Seeing L.C.A. was fantastic. I always love seeing them live and they were really tight on this day. I was definitely feeling all of their new stuff live. We ran over catch the Dropkicks right after L.C.A. The only other bands that I definitely had to see for the rest of the day were Rancid, Fishbone, and Avenged Sevenfold. Luckily I was able to run over fast and catch the end of Fishbone because they were playing for the part of the same time as Rancid. The pit for avenged sevenfold was madness. Matty ended up punching some kid in the face cuz the kid was being a dick. After Matt punched him the kid was like lunging at Matt so the dickhead ended up getting hauled away by security, fighting the security guard the whole way. The last band we watched, Murphy's Law, I wasn't very familiar with but Matt really wanted to see them. They ended up being great and it was such a punk rock ending to the night. They actually ended up getting cut off, supposedly because the singer was talking about legalizing marijuana. So they cut the big amps but you could still hear the monitors on stage so they just kept playing. The mics were off so the whole crowd was singing the lyrics for them. It was crazy. Then the singer started a chant of UP WITH US, DOWN WITH THEM. I really thought riots were gonna break out. It was awesome. So finally they cut the power completely and that was the end of that. It was definitely one of the best out of the six or so warped tours I've been to.
Well that's pretty much all that's been going on lately. I guess i should update more often so I don't have another incredibly long entry like this. Fuck you Matt. So anyway these last 2 weeks have been a blast. This week I would really like to go see Dane Cook at the comedy connection in boston. Tickets are a bit expensive though so i don't know if it will happen. Thats it for me for now.
