Can you be in love with a girl you have never met? I thought yes at first but when I thought about it I decided no was probably the more honest answer. I am not in love with the girl. I am in love with the idea I have of the girl. Having never actually talked to her I don't believe real love is there. It just that the idea of her has me giddy.
I will hold on to that thought for a bit I think. I saw her in the bar as I was leaving last night. I didn't talk to her because pretty girls make me shy and stupid.
She had long dark hair, tattoos down both arms, a home town girl sort of face, and best of all she ordered a Hop Venom IPA so I know she loves beer. If only beauty didn't make me shyer then I already am I would have said hello. It probably would have ended there because Im an idiot and it gets worse when Im attracted to you.
The entire conversation would have played out like this.

Hi I'm Chris and I love that you just ordered an IPA. I don't know many girls who love beer so that automatically made me fall head over heals for you.

Then she would have reply.

Sorry but no. I do like this beer but I'll drink it without you.


I don't know if I honestly believe that would have happened but the thought alone was enough to keep me walking away. So fair thee well my dark haired godess. I hope you have many hops and a great life.
