Life is mysterious
Many questions, there are
About where we're going?
When we'll get there? And, how far?

A mystery worth solving
Although you haven't any clues
A marathon worth running
Even without the proper shoes

These thoughts may seem silly
Amusing to most
These thoughts are perplexing
However, to life I must toast:

I love not knowing
Where tomorrow will lead
I love waking-up
And remembering to breathe

I cherish every blessing
And try to learn from my past
This year seems much better
Even more so than the last

Most of all, I thank you, Life
For showing me how to Love
To feel for someone so immensley
You simply can't get enough

So, here's to you, Life
Looking forward to what's in-store
A beautiful future you've planned for me
Of that, I am sure
