Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I've made an appointment to get my hair dreaded today love love I hope it turns out ok I'm sure it will, but I'm just nervous that i'll end up looking ridiculous and spent alot of money to do so! Ha.

It's raining. What better way to spend a rainy day...sitting in a hair salon for many hours (I didn't ask how long it will take, but my appt time is 9am). I better take a book.

Well, i guess i'll add some more when I return this afternoon! Wish me luck tongue

Oh and in other news, after I made my appointment last night, I dropped in to visit a friend who lives in the same area as the salon, and this chick was there wearing a Suicide Girls tshirt!! surreal I was like ohmigosh! I didn't say anything though, but sat there wondering if she was a member....good taste in clothing/advertising if she isn't though! hehe

mmk...well that was really a lot more painful than I had expected! On my head, not just my wallet. I guess they'll look ok after a few weeks...I'll put pics up eventually...I tried to take some just now, but I have crap lighting...not just an excuse!! it's true. none of my camera's are good enough to deal with the conditions smile

So yeh, it hurt like a bastard and took about 5 or so hours. I swear, the pain was comparable to being tattooed, at times. There was only about 6 dreads out of the whole bunch that did not hurt. heh if I get bored one day I might count how many there are, I now have a fairly determinate number of 'hairs.' SO yeah..I'm gonna go rest or something, altho not lie down really (god whats THAT going to feel like?? lol) cos my neck is still screamin at me, its kinda stiff and I have a headache.

Was it like sleeping on rope or cabling last night? I guess it depends on how tight and fat they are too.
I hope you like them, otherwise you'll be shaving your head. And it's a cold winter.

Damn, 5 hours with a hairdresser. I'd go mad. I like having my hair brushed, but I can't stand having it braided in any way, I get a killer headache that won't die. My hair is even shorter now than it was in my profile picture. I went with a style I saw in "Gothic Beauty" magazine. I'll bet you look good though....a friend of mine had dreads for a long time and she looked hot. Sadly, she's completely straight, but I never complain about eye candy.
