Well, even though I knew it to be true, Tori puts on one hell of a show!!
We went to both shows (Fri and Sat) in Sydney and it was so worth it Thank god for a date change!!!!
I even got a bit teary at the second show (when she sang 1000 Oceans, and again at Tear In Your Hand, cos that's always been my favourite Tori song).
We got quite drunk on champagne at Friday night's show, and it was awesome. We really enjoyed it. Saturday's show we were a little more low key, we were tired from walking around Sydney all day, and slightly hung over hehe.
It was so cool to see 2 consecutive shows, and compare characters (cos for this new album, American Doll Posse, Tori performs as one of the 5 "characters" on the album) and set lists. Over the 2 nights, Tori sang a great selection of songs from most albums.
My camera isn't very good so my photos are absolute crap, and it was a covert operation anyways, cos the theatre attendants were prowling the aisles trying to catch people taking photos for most of the show anyway.
Not much of a picture but oh well.....
Here is a weird tree/cacti at the Botanical Gardens -
and BATS!!!! We saw bats, coming in to roost/sleep on Friday morning -
And here are cupcakes from the Cupcake Shop on Pitt Street (not its name, but close enough) -
I'll post some more pictures next time

It only just dawned on me; are there no bats in New Zealand?! I hadn't seen any since arriving, but I haven't seen much nature in general since being here, so I figured they're here somewhere, just nowhere near me.
I'm so envious about the cupcake shop! Heaven.
