omfg thank everyone sooooo much.

for an update:

i'm now going out with the girl... i did talk to her about it.. and she said that she wasn't interested in dating me... so i went on a date with another girl... about a week later i went to the cape and while i was down there she texted me a bunch teling me how much she missed me and that she had something to tell me when i got back... when we were hanging out she told me that she liked me so much all along but afraid to get into another relationship, but that i was worth it. thanks everyone for your advice.
