Well, bout that time again....Tomorrow, we're supposed to go to the polls to once again decide the fate of our nation. (Actually, I've done my voting absentee already.) I usually don't get too emotional over politics...and on the political side of things, I still don't. But the people who run this country I think a lot of times tend to forget or not care that the decisions they make affect EVERYONE'S lives. I remember a song that came out a few years ago that struck a chord with me that sums up at least most of my feelings on the matter.
Obama, ya seem like a good man and I hope you can deliver the change you've promised but you've got one HELLOVA mess to clean up if you do get in and I hope to God you do. Whether anyone agrees or disagrees with my views, it's up to them and that's fine...but do know that with all the bullshit our government has pulled over the last 8 years and as far down as my beloved country has been dragged, I still care enough to hold on to one small speck of hope for the US.....That and my vote are all I feel I have left.

I will be glad when this is all over, and we can get started on getting this country back to where it needs to be. I also voted by mail, I didnt want to deal with the lines.
