So today, I FINALLY met Phoenixgirl after a year, her supercool boyfriend, Wyldechylde, who I've found I have A LOT in common with, and her best friend Rowe and her boyfriend Anthony. We've been planning this now for the last few weeks, and it's seemed more feasible, after Phoenix made her big move a month ago. I met up with them at the Embarcadero Bart station at about 10:45 in the morning and we walked for probably 20 minutes to meet Rowe and Anthony at Pier 39 and went flooking for the first thing on all our minds....FOOD!!!
We stopped at Hooters at Fisherman's Wharf and had a damn good meal (mine being an awesome grouper sandwich!), talked and took photos. We later on headed our way back to Pier 39, while taking a few stops at some gift shop to take a look at some gaudy stuff that only someone with a mansion would stick in their living room. Then on to Rainforest Cafe, which one of these days, I promise guys, we will go eat!! As much as I don't like touristy places, that looks like a nice place to eat. (Just way to pricy for now.) We finally made our way back to Pier 39 again where we took a look at random shops, posed for pictures with Star Wars Stormtroopers, and turned into total dorks when we hit the arcade, epsecially yours truly, Wyldechylde, and Anthony, who beat the ever-living crap out of me in Soul Calibur 2 (but in my defense I haven't played in a while, especially on those controls...so
) Unfortunately, Rowe and her bf had to take off early so it was just Me Phoenixgirl and Wyldechylde for another half an hour. We went to Fairyland, where we all DRUELED over the gorgeous fairy artwork all over the walls by artists like Nene Thomas. We literally had to rip ourselves away from that store because 1.) we didn't have money to get anything there (but I did get a fairie's "kiss" from a cute cashier...and 2.) they had to get heading home soon. We stopped at a coffee shop downstairs, where we all sat down and relaxed a bit more, and where Wyldechylde and I offically adopted each other as best friends already!!!! I'm serious, me and him from the get-go clicked immediately!! I'm so damn stoked that Phonixgirl found him! Well, from there we all went for the final walk back to the Bart Station where we parted ways. It was an end to a good day that I've needed for a long time. I'll post pics of the day sometime tomorrow.
I've gotta say this. The more I've been on the Suicide Girls site, the more I've found I've needed it because I've made some incredible friends here that I hope to God I keep for the rest of my life and some others, I hope to meet someday. To all my friends, much love to you all.
