I know this is a little late, but I wanted to thank everyone who came to the party Friday night and made it such a great event! I was so stressed with the preparations because the kitchen was so last minute, but you were all so warm and complimentary that it didn't seem to matter. Special thanx to those who wore costumes! They were great and helped add to the overall festival feeling.
I am going into work late today because I have to go to the City of Somerville Traffic and Parking to contest a parking ticket I got that they claim was in a permit only area but it was not marked. My landlady also may or may not come by today or tomorrow with the contractor to take a look at the shoddy work and to figure out what else needs to be done to finish this f'n nightmare.
I put plastic weather sealer on my windows last night int he bedroom. I hope it helps with the terrible cold drafts. I am a little doubtful since the curtains are still moving even with the plastic and the blinds behind them.
Just had to reschedule my second tattoo apt into April because I have to work. Stupid retail. It was a choice with either getting a tattoo, or going home to visit my parents for Christmas even though I have earned float holidays and have vacation time an all. I guess I am lucky that the retail manager hasn't yet told us we are supposed to work 6 days for the week of Christmas. I have a hard time understanding what good that would do, even as a manager. I might end up cancelling the apointments all together because of lack of money. Maybe if we actually get another roomie to help with bills, it will be OK.

you should have seen the look on the womans face when i launched her shopping cart waaaaay down the isle. you don't reach into someone elses cart to steal that they got first. and if she did get away with it i would have punched a F'in hole in the front of it, so i would be ruined and we'd both be out of the last limited edition barbie. i don't go looking for crap, it seems to want to come to me. but yeah it was soooo funny
also, i'm gonna be out tomorrow night; so if you are not doing anything; you will find me at manray.
