Hi, all! I felt I should introduce myself. My name is Melinda and I live in Boston.
Right now, I am fighting off a head cold, but still going to be a trooper and go out tonight. Not sure if anyone is reading this, so I'm not going to put much this firt time. Looking to meet people to hang out with and do fun things with. Drop me a line!

Not to generalize, but martal arts training will help you defend yourself AND help you work out - however, some are better suited to one camp or the other. For example, you can learn street fighting techniques like Krav Maga (developed for the Israeli Army and is VERY effective). Kung Fu - while maybe not the most practical in some fighting situations - can be one of the most brutal workouts ever. Depends on what you're looking for really.
