So... "Hero" is about to open - finally. And who's getting all the press? Quentin Tarantino... because he "presents" it. I saw him interviewed - he acted like it was his film. Even the TV and print ads make it seem like it's his. For chrissake, it's Zhang Yimou's film - one of the greatest directors in the world. And an artist who has risked his freedom for his art - films like Ju Dou and Raise The Red Lantern - phenomenal critiques of the repressive Communist Chinese regime - were dangerous to be making when you were Chinese! I hate it when creative people hog the limelight and don't give credit where it's due.
