Actually, it seems like this place is surprisingly good about granting the medical leave - nobody I work with has ever had a problem with it. It's just a matter of getting the doctor's documentation back to them at this point.
I, as usual, have nothing new of import to impart. Spend enough time imparting issues of various levels of import, and your urge to impart further becomes less than impartial.
