blameshift

Ok, kids, time for another entry...The girlfriend took me out for lunch today, paid for my food and my beer...she is so nice, I might actually last more than a month with this girl...which is funny because all of my other ones have only lasted a little shy of a month. We're going out to a friend's house tonight to get shitty, then I'll sleep there and she'll go home, and then tomorrow is the gig! YAY money coming my way! It's been so long since I've seen money...I hate that. I kind of wish I had a job just so I could go out and buy beer all the time.
Oh, on another note, if you guys didn't know, I'm home in Charleston for the summer, since the apt. in A-Vegas didn't work out. My grandmother is staying with us, and that is really weird. She has dementia, and damn does it show. She walks around aimlessly and just looks really lost. Sad really, cause I think my mom will be the same way. That's going to be bad.

In another note, I'm sure some of you people probably hate the man, but I found out that Strom Thurmond died last night. Yeah, he was a segragationalist, and yeah he was old, but, man, did he serve this country, and much more, this beautiful state the best he could in his tenure in office.
