I feel like I've been cursed with terrible wifi signals everytime I try to go on my laptop , I've tried posting blogs from my phone but it's so stressing that I just quit. But guess what? I asked for my mom's phone and here I am.
So, for this blog I've picked two old assignments by @missy and @charmaine that seem fun to do!
I'll start out with this one: Tell us your best ghost/spooky story! Can be a real paranormal experience you had, a story you heard, an urban legend, or a fictional tale that you make up!
Well, well, I'll go for a real one since I have tons of them -I've been stalked by ghosts for years now- but before I get into this creepy story, have you ever heard about shadow people? if not, you should read this so you know what I'm talking about.
This happened to me when I was 15 and I moved in to the second floor of my house that consisted of a big room with enough space to have a bedroom and also a spacious living room. It's all wood and the stairs are right out the door. I got there right after my older brother left our house. He lived there with his girlfriend and my baby nephew. Their relationship was really crappy. They used to argue a lot, yelled to each other saying mean things and it even got physical a few times, it was awful. They broke up permanently after leaving the house and I took over the second floor, happy to have so much room for my stuff and many windows to stare at the sky. But the room was strangely cold in the middle of spring, my breath was vapour in the morning and I had to sleep with tons of blankets by the night. One day my father visited me and he noticed the cold in my room, pointed it to my mom very concerned because he believed that presence of ghosts makes the temperature drop. That was shortly after the noises had begun.
I've always struggled to fall asleep, and a week or so after I moved in, I started hearing weird noises downstairs. It always started past midnight and I wasn't worried at first because it was barely perceptible to the ear, but it happened every night and by the third night I recognised the noise as someone slightly stepping on the first rung of the stairs. I freaked out thinking that my house was being robbed, but the noise stopped quick enough to keep calm. This went on every night after, and I coudn't deny it was getting worse each night but I kept that to myself. Every night the noises were a bit louder, and whatever it was it was stepping in higher rungs of the stairs like it was very slowly going a bit higher each night, and I did nothing but force myself to sleep in fear everytime, somehow it comforted me to think that it wasn't a living person what caused the noise.
One night I panicked because I suddenly heard it, and it sounded so fucking clear, it was like someone stepping up really hard and fast on half of the rungs of the stairs. I fell asleep terrified with the feeling that there was something in the middle of the stairs, awaiting, and it knew I heard it. I was aware.
I can't remember how many nights passed before the night I heard it going up stairs almost running, stepping hard making a loud noise with every step, and this time it went all the way upstairs. All I could think was "It's fucking right outside of room, fuck, fuck, fuck" I was lying in my bed almost passing out of pure horror with blankets covering me up to my nose. I was petrified, and then it hit me: I had left the door open. Fuckkkkk.
So, although I was frightened I managed to gather enough courage to open my eyes and look to my door, and I felt my heart fell to my stomach when I saw a huge patch of a black shadow humanly shaped, standing right beside my fucking door.
it was so tall it almost touched the ceiling and even though it was a shadow, it looked heavy and portly. I will never forget how dark it was, even though I was in the full darkness of my room, I could still distinguish the shadow person standing there, it was honestly the darkest black I've ever seen. I stared at it for two seconds that seemed to be eternal to me, and as fast as I blinked, it was gone.
and never heard it coming upstairs again.
I know I said I'd do two assignments, but it's really late, It's dark , I'm that same room and I wanna fall asleep as soon as possible haha.
