Quick update:
Back at the old shop. Never thought I'd actually be happy to be there. Just have to meet a few demands and they've agreed to give me a raise, to match the job I left. It's become obvious I was missed there.
Issue:
I was called for a job interview for saturday. It's a job in a print/copy place (much like Kinkos) but they have in-house graphic designers. So it's a small step in the direction I want to go with my life. Here's the issue, this job will probably only pay a little more than half of what I'm making at the shop now, so if I get it, I'd have to get a second job in order to make ends meet. But it is closer to what I want to do with my life. Where I'm at now, they were kind enough to bring me back, but it's my one and only "get out of jail free" card. They won't bring me back. If I wanted, I could stay there and make an absolute killing and have a real secure future, but it's doing something that I don't totally care about. What do I do? Take the risk and be forced to work 2 jobs and hope it gets me more into graphic design, or stay at the shop, turning a wrench, not totally caring about my work but making enough to live more than comfortably?
Suggestions?
