Concert Tonight! Yes, that's right kiddies! And what a show it was! Here's the break down:
Moneen - Meh....whatever. Little to Emo/Pop for my likings. Some of their stuff wasn't to bad tho, when they got away from that sound. Not a band I'd spend money on tho.
Anti-Flag - Fucking love this band! I've seen them in the past, and I always enjoy watching them put on a show. So much energy. It was amazing. I spent their set in the mosh pit and had a blast. I went in wearing a shirt and a hoodie, by the end of it, the shirt was gone and only the hoodie remained. And the hoodie wasn't even mine. Friend of mine asked me to pick it up for her, so now when she gets it, it's gonna smell like Dave sweat. She'll love it *L* Near the end of their set, there was a huge circle pit (which I opted to stay out of) and tons of crashes in it due to a slick beer covered floor. Lots of people bailing and lots of pile ups. Fun to watch tho. But holy shit, it was awesome.
Rise Against - Holy-Fucking-Shit! I've never seen them play live before and I've been missing out! The mosh pit was INTENSE! I can't remember the last time I was in a pit with that much energy. It was so friggin' amazing! For this one I had to hand the hoodie off to a friend as it was just to warm to wear that, or even a shirt. Sweat was just POURING off me. And they put on SUCH an amazing show! The political prowess of them and Anti-Flag made the show so interesting. I'd love to see Rise Against again, preferably as the headliners!
Billy Talent - What can I say about Billy Talent....I think their lead singer is gay, they put on a good show for the 14 year old teenie boppers...We left early. Didn't have any reason to stick around even to the encore. We were only there to see Anti-Flag and Rise Against, and we did. That was all that mattered. How the headlining band was Billy, I don't know...they should have been second set, AF third, RA headline. oh well. Next time.
Now for the injury report. I only bled once in this pit...caught a good shot to the mouth and was spitting blood for a bit. The rest of the injuries consist of broken blood vessels in my back and my chest, bruising on my arms, hands and legs. Nothing to major (Unlike the bleeding ear from a concert in the past).
All in all, a fucking AMAZING night! Unfortunate for those who had to miss it. OH, and I got flipped off and given a dirty look by a "bad ass" who I happened to piss off a few weeks ago. Real mature chick.
Injuries: *Note the wicked bruising on my spine*

I agree, Rise Against was fucking amazing. Even though I didn't see that much because I was working, they sounded soooooo good. Ouch, hope your spine feels better.

Actually Billy Talent played well, alot better than I have heard them in the past. And funny story.....one of the guards I work with mistakenly kicked kicked Tim from Rise Against out the saddledome because he had no idea who he was and thought he was just some random guy who wasn't suppose to be there.
