so I had the most incredible experience ever last night, besides this threesome I had with these two girls a while back...yeahh amaaazing...haha but anyways!! So I serve tables part time about two days a week. But last night they called me because they were short and I figured yeah why not, I'm bored...I go in. It was pretty steady all night, and at one point I had a table come in that was an older couple, probably early 50'sish, and they sit order their dinner, ya know, what you do at a restaurant. And during they're meal I have another table sat right next to them, a younger couple, probably early 20's w/ two kids, and the dad was in uniform (army). So since our tables are so close and old people really cannot help but talk to other people, the tables were conversing and I joined in a little bit being the talkative out-going server I am. And the guy had just gotten back from a tour in Iraq just a few days before and was set to go back again in about another month, he was only back for some more training. It was just a cool thing to hear first hand how it was over there a little bit. So I drop the check at the old(er) couples table and go about my business, at this point the younger couple has their food already. Then while I'm putting in an order for another table at the computer, the older lady from the 1st table comes up to me and says, "Can you add they're tab to our check also, and please don't say anything to them before we leave, but when they ask just let them know that we really appreciate what they are doing for our country over there". I was in complete shock, I was like of course, thank you very much, I'll take care of it no problem. So she gave me her card and I combined the checks, etc. It was reallly really nice of them, I was just very surprised, I did not think that that kind of hospitality existed anymore. Well of course when it came time for the second tables check to come out, I explained to them exactly what the lady had asked me to explain, and the woman teared up because she was so taken back and the guy just kept thanking me, and I insisted that it was not necessary and if anything I should thank him. But in the end it was just a really cool experience....thought I'd share.
I'll update more later...(when I'm not at work)

I'm sending you a friend request, but I'll tell you a secret: bookmarking a girl's journal can be really useful
