another productive day going on here. feels like the bizarro-world where I am the exact opposite of my normally lazy self.
shedding emotional encumberances has lifted my spirits significantly. while the change within me has been made, the messy part of speaking it aloud has yet to occur. either way, this soul is ready to move on and focus on what is important, rather than obsessing over the things that will never be.
viva la independence!

So what kind of gun do you own? I want to get a small ladylike handgun myself. Any suggestions? I've got friends that go to an indoor shooting range that I'd like to start going with.
I'm impressed that you volunteer at an animal shelter - tough work, and heartbreaking sometimes. (Um, saw that you posted about this in the SGFL group by the way - I'm not really a mind reader. I'd just make a good detective is all.)
I think I'll go cry now. Just read your "makes me sad" and it reminded me of my cat that passed away due to kidney and liver failure among other things. It was really hard - I feel for you. He was like my son. I was so attached to him and moved by his very trying and hard life that I never wanted to forget about it - he was always tough and found his peace. So I got a tattoo with his nickname as a memorial to him. If you ever want to talk about it, I'm an ear to listen.
How many cats you have? I've got too many beig a Gato Rancher and all.
Stop by and say hi sometime, you should try to make it to the SGFL gatherings too. I try to make them when I can. *hearts sqp*
